Rules for posting deals from Amazon third-party sellers!
Last year, we implemented a minimum 1,000+ store rating requirement for deals sold by Amazon third-party sellers. The goal of this requirement was to find a balance between allowing some third-party seller deals to appear on Slickdeals, while also protecting our users by maintaining a requirement that deals come from relatively reputable merchants. Lately however, we have seen that threshold gamed and abused, with many low quality deals posted to our forums. We noticed, by using some tools like Fakespot, many of these deals had dubious reviews – sometimes up to 90% of the reviews for a product were deemed suspicious.
